Filming Log-Part 2

It has been a week since I last filmed as other commitments have mean't that my actors couldn't make the days I had originally planned to film. This has put a set back on my filming and scheduling script.I knew that getting everyone that I needed may be an issues however, we have now came to the conclusion that Thursdays and Sundays are probably the best time to get the filming done.

In order to keep trying to make progress with my production I filmed some shots that didn't require any actors/actresses.These shots are going to be key aspects of the film - (trailer) therefore these shots are quite vital however, I was planning on having more staged footage with the actors by this point.

The shots I got went well as I had a lot more time to focus of the lighting and staged area. This made a huge effect to the shots as it made them more crisp and precise. The equipment worked smoothly and as I now feel more comfortable with it I feel the whole shooting experience went better than the first which has made a drastic improvement to the quality of shots I am collecting.

Really the only problem I did occur was the fact the there were no actors there to kind of collect the shot and give it context so the shots do look blank almost empty. So in the editing stage once the acting shots are intertwined with these single shots it should give this scene more context then it does now as it's all shot separately.
