These are examples of past students work that where created.In class today we analysed these are discussed our thoughts on what we think went well and maybe didn't go so well.

First of all we looked at the magazine poster and discussed what we thought went well.We said that the main image itself was really effective and matched empire clear line of just having one one clear main image.The blood was also quite effective and it's very creative how it has included the sort of headline for the articles inside however,we did notice some draw backs to this magazine.

We discussed the for instance the blood was quite a powerful red and doesn't look to realistic I actually looks like it's been made on the computer so there is a kind of fakeness to a main feature of the poster.Also we said the although the image is bit effective we said there maybe could have been a couple more images used because it's quite simple in itself.Also although very creative the articles sub-headings is very small and not really eye-catching.If the magazine was in a shop it would have been really hard for people to see and therefore won't pick it up and buy it.Also a major factor is the fact that the,'Empire' title is way to small as on a normal magazine the title would spread across the entire top of the page with the barcode on it's right side underneath not where the barcode is positioned now.We marked this magazine front cover at a level 3.

Now onto the poster,We discussed what went well.We immediately thought this was the best one out of the two.The main image is really effected and manipulated.The image is the key factor of the poster and makes this posters what it is.It adds the scary elements to this poster and reiterates that this is a horror movie poster.Also the editing skills used to create and effect this image were really well used.The candidate has also taken multiple images to use to create this one big image.The make up has also made quite a big feature even though it's been darken you can still see some drips of the blood therefore,It adds quite a creepy feel to it.this poster does have most of the main features for a main movie poster however,there are some flaws to this poster.
Somethings that can maybe be included are the actors and actresses names,these are normally heavily featured on each of the posters and magazines so this could be a fault in these products.
